Which leads in kind to the discovery of my new favourite last.fm artist - Tuning CD - who appears in Gorbachev’s ‘Similar Artists’ feed. I haven’t had a chance to listen the whole way through yet, but I do think this is a little unfair on good old MG. Granted, there’s no denying the fundamental influence on Gorbachev’s music - in fact I dare you to find a track that doesn’t unashamedly borrow from Tuning CD - but I do wonder if there might be more strings to Mikhail’s bow?

There’s his Nobel Peace Prize for one…
