Plankton: he was in a rock band, don’t you know
- ok, so I’m aware that my burgeoning obsession for the Tallest Man On Earth is starting to become a tad worrisome, but I promise, this is the last one for a while -
I present to you Swedish rock band Montezumas:

From left to right: don’t care, don’t care, The Tallest Man On Earth (note: smallest man in band), don’t care, don’t care.
A discarded relic from Kristian Matsson’s (thus far) short musical career, Montezumas remain somewhat of a mystery to me. They’re not on Wikipedia (see Web 2.0 philosophy; “I am on Wikipedia, therefore I am”), while Last.fm can barely summon up the energy to say anything worthwhile, let alone grammatically pleasing, about them - “the singer of this group is the same man that is called The Tallest Man On Earth”. In truth, I doubt they will ever be anything more than a footnote in his career - but I have seen some fairly special footnotes in my time* among which Montezumas certainly belong. Have a listen for yourself.
MP3: “Blame The Dogs” - Montezumas
MP3: “Dan Dylan” - Montezumas
And (it’s not a cover),
MP3: “Walk The Line” - The Tallest Man On Earth
Plankton x
* I’m a particular fan of the “hoe” vs “ho” footnote
